Web Guidelines

Background and border

The background fills the browser window and surrounds the Web page container. The background also appears behind the global navigation links at the top of the page and behind the global footer content at the bottom of the page.

Basic guidelines

Page background

The background color can be changed to any WSU color palette color or Web tint.

A background gradient or image can be added to the background.

A background image or color must not interfere with the legibility of the global navigation links or the global footer content or be a repeating pattern.

Page border

The page is surrounded by a shadow to form a page border or edge. The shadow graphic must not be removed or altered.
